Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi An Avant-garde Sage Sri Arunachala Aksharamanamalai (The Marital Garland of Letters) |
|
This joyful Marital Garland of Letters, which resembles a beam of the rays of the rising sun, was sung by the noble sage, Ramana Maharshi, the manifest ocean of compassion, with the object of removing the delusion of the “I am the body notion” from aspirants who sought his grace. Those who look upon the Self as their sole refuge will realize within themselves that they are Arunachala [Self] and will reign in the formless world of Siva [Self]. Arunachala Siva, Arunachala Siva, Arunachala Siva, Arunachala! Arunachala Siva, Arunachala Siva, Arunachala Siva, Arunachala! Arunachala! Thou dost root out the ego of those who meditate on Thee in the heart, Oh Arunachala! |
